About PETER MICHAELIS

Peter started his professional career as a Network Television Producer working for ABC News-World News Tonight, Nightline and This Week with David Brinkley and CBS News magazine show West 57^th. His work garnered him numerous awards including three Emmy nominations-the highest award in his field. The skills that made him a successful producer translated nicely to the real estate business. Peter's ability to communicate clearly with clients and his high degree of organizational skills and patience has rendered him a successful, caring and approachable real estate agent.

A full-time Realtor with Ginnel Real Estate since 2014, Peter prides himself on dedication to public service. “To whom much is given, much is required” an axiom Peter lives by in his commitment to Bedford, New York and the surrounding communities. He has become a local expert regarding the Town of Bedford and brings considerable knowledge to the table. He currently serves as Chairman on the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Bedford Communications Committee. His past service includes involvement in Bedford’s Comprehensive Plan, the Emergency Planning Committee, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), the Conservation Board and The Tree Advisory Board. Understanding the workings of local government makes him a valuable resource for clients as he understands how to navigate and accomplish what client’s desire.

Peter is a resident of Bedford for 34 years, raising his two sons in town. He still can’t believe that he wakes each day in the country and that Manhattan is only 40 miles away. Bedford is truly his paradise. His family has lived in three different homes including one he and his wife built from the ground up. Peter’s love for his community is also evident in his community service. He has served as Chairman, President and Trustee of the Bedford Historical Society and served as VP and Trustee of the Friends of the John Jay Homestead.

Peter is a member of the Westchester Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the New York Association of Realtors and is licensed in both New York and Connecticut. He is also a Zillow Premier Agent.
